Mykhailo Mudryk describes the celebration with Maresca as “so happy.”
When Mykhailo Mudryk scored during his Player-of-the-Match performance against Panathinaikos, he was thrilled and gave an explanation for why he ran to join head coach Enzo Maresca in celebrating.
Throughout our 4-1 victory, the Ukrainian was a constant menace, converting the ball beyond the goalkeeper at the far post and setting up both of Joao Felix’s goals.
Mudryk presently shares the top spot on the Conference League assist rankings, with the Blues holding the top spot in the table, following yesterday’s game, in which he created the most opportunities.
Misha also talked about how happy he was to contribute in Athens after being chosen by the Blues’ fans as our Player of the Match on the Official Chelsea App.
“We did well, so I’m happy,” the 23-year-old said. “We won this game, and it was a great game with a great outcome.”
“I’m overjoyed to score.” When a player scores, they all go crazy. It wasn’t an easy ball because it was dropping behind me, but I scored, and we won too.
I didn’t think the game was that easy. We were lucky to get the first goal. We fought hard, did what we were supposed to do, and won.
During the jubilation of his strike, Mudryk hurried to the bench and hugged his manager Maresca for a reason.
He said, “The coach always tells me to go to the second post, and I did that and that’s where I scored,” and we shook hands.

Getting a score boosts your confidence, which is always excellent. Every victory, in my opinion, will enhance our confidence as a squad, and I believe that we are improving with each game.
With the winger thinking that if they keep working hard, the sky is the limit, Misha is optimistic that the Blues will maintain their strong start to the Conference League.
“I don’t want to make any predictions, but Chelsea is a team that consistently strives for the best outcomes and places at the top of many tournaments,” he continued.
“Talent is insufficient.” You must be patient and put in a lot of effort if you want to achieve.
