September 10, 2026: Nepal have reached the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026 final after defeating Oman by 87 runs in the first semi-final at Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
Nepal were bowled out for 147 runs in 45.4 overs, leaving Oman with what appeared to be a manageable target. However, Nepal’s bowlers produced a superb performance, dismissing Oman for just 60 runs in 28.1 overs to seal a convincing victory.
The win sends Nepal into the championship match, where they will face the United Arab Emirates on September 12.
Nepal Defend Just 147
After being restricted to 147, Nepal needed a strong bowling effort to stay in the contest.
The bowlers responded brilliantly as Oman struggled to build partnerships and lost wickets regularly. Oman eventually collapsed to 60 all out, handing Nepal an 87-run victory despite Nepal’s modest first-innings total.
The result highlighted Nepal’s ability to defend a low score under pressure and delivered a memorable semi-final victory.
UAE Also Reach The Final
The United Arab Emirates booked the second final spot after defeating Hong Kong by seven wickets in the other semi-final.
Hong Kong were bowled out for 70 in 30.1 overs, before UAE chased the target comfortably, reaching 71/3 in 11.1 overs.
The result sets up a Nepal-UAE battle for the Premier Cup title.

Nepal’s Road To The Final

One Win Away From The Trophy
Nepal are now just one victory away from lifting the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026 title.
After overcoming Oman with a powerful bowling display, Nepal will now turn their attention to UAE and the biggest match of their tournament campaign.
