Sajha Yatayat is preparing to operate 8 electric “Blue Buses” for women in Kathmandu Valley, but the service will start only after the Ministry of Finance approves the cost proposal and a formal agreement is completed. Dailekh Karnali River Accident: Missing Vehicle Raises Safety And Passenger Record Concerns

A Force passenger vehicle travelling from Surkhet to Kalikot plunged about 400 metres into the Karnali River at Sangetada, Dailekh, on Thursday morning, and the vehicle has still not been recovered due to high, muddy water and difficult terrain. Authorities have confirmed one death, but the exact number of passengers remains unclear, with reports differing from around 5 passengers to an estimated 14 people on board.

Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel Responds After Class 12 Students Protest Over NEB Results

Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel has responded after Class 12 students protested at Maitighar over concerns about NEB results, saying the evaluation process was clear and reliable. He also announced that a committee has been formed with deputy secretary-level representatives from the Ministry of Education and Sports and the Curriculum Development Centre to conduct sample testing of answer sheets and verify marks and data entry.
