Nepal to Host PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Season 2 South Asia Finals in Kathmandu

Nepal is set to welcome one of the biggest PUBG Mobile esports events in the region as Kathmandu hosts the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026 Season 2 – South Asia Finals. The four-day international competition is scheduled to take place from September 16 to 19, 2026, bringing 16 teams from across South Asia to compete for places in the PMGO Season 2 Main Event. The tournament is an offline competition and is being organized by KRAFTON, Level Infinite and Esports County.

The tournament will be a major moment for Nepal’s growing esports community. Three Nepali teams — Trained to Kill, Hidden Leaf Esports and The Gaming Broskis — have officially qualified through the South Asia pathway. Earlier, these teams earned their place through strong performances in the PUBG Mobile National Championship South Asia 2026 Fall. Trained to Kill finished first, Hidden Leaf Esports second and The Gaming Broskis third in the South Asia finals qualification stage.

The competition also comes at an exciting time for Nepali PUBG Mobile esports. Horaa Esports, one of Nepal’s best-known teams, recently reached the grand finals of the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 in Paris, showing the growing strength of Nepali teams on the international stage. However, for the PMGO Season 2 South Asia Finals, the currently listed Nepali representatives are Trained to Kill, Hidden Leaf Esports and The Gaming Broskis.

The stakes will be high in Kathmandu. According to the tournament listing, the top three teams will qualify for the PMGO 2026 Season 2 Main Event. Teams will compete in the squad-based third-person perspective format, with every placement and elimination adding to their overall score.
