Opposition MP Harka Sampang Demands PM Balen Shah's Resignation and Walks Out Of The House
PM Balen Shah did not appear in the Federal Parliament of Nepal To Respond To Policy And Programme Debate, Leading Opposition MPs, including Harka Sampang, To Walk Out Of The House And Demand His Resignation During Heated Parliamentary Session

Shram Sanskriti Party lawmakers led by party chair Harka Sampang walked out of the Federal Parliament meeting after Prime Minister Balen Shah failed to appear in the House to respond to discussions on the government’s policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year. Opposition lawmakers strongly criticized the Prime Minister’s absence and demanded accountability during the parliamentary session.
The situation became tense after Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle prepared to respond on behalf of the Prime Minister, leading opposition parties to obstruct proceedings and demand Balen Shah’s presence in parliament. Protest slogans and calls for resignation were also raised inside the House as lawmakers accused the government of disrespecting parliamentary responsibility.
