Kami Rita Sherpa Climbs Mount Everest For Record 32nd Time While Lakpa Sherpa Becomes First Woman To Reach Everest Summit 11 Times In Historic Day For Nepal Mountaineering
Nepal has once again created history on the world’s highest peak as legendary climber Kami Rita Sherpa successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest for the 32nd time. According to PM Balen Shah, he reached the top at 10:12 AM, extending his own world record as the person with the highest number of Everest ascents in history. On the same day, Lakpa Sherpa, also known as the “Mountain Queen,” successfully completed her 11th Everest summit at 9:30 AM. With this achievement, she set a new world record among female climbers, adding another proud moment for Nepal in global mountaineering history.
