Kathmandu, Nepal: Motorola, in partnership with Chaudhary Group, has officially launched the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion in Nepal through a special collaboration with the much-awaited Nepali movie ‘Masterni’.

The smartphone was unveiled during an exclusive private screening of ‘Masterni’ at QFX Cinemas in Kathmandu. The collaboration brought technology and cinema together in what the companies described as a first-of-its-kind smartphone launch initiative in Nepal.

Motorola Country Head Hari Om Mishra and Chaudhary Group Vice President S.C. Saboo formally unveiled the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion alongside the cast and crew of ‘Masterni’. Actress Priyanka Karki and other members of the film team were also present at the event.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion comes with a 50MP Sony LYT-710 camera supported by moto ai. Motorola describes the camera implementation as a world-first feature for the smartphone.

The device is powered by a large 7,000mAh battery and supports 68W TurboPower charging. It also features a 144Hz 1.5K quad-curved display with brightness reaching up to 5,200 nits.

Motorola has also focused on the phone’s design, offering premium fabric finishes and Pantone-curated colours.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will be available across Nepal from August 29, 2026. Its starting price has been set at NPR 69,999.

The collaboration with ‘Masterni’ represents a new approach to smartphone launches in the Nepali market, combining a technology product unveiling with entertainment and cinema to create a broader cultural experience for attendees.
