Gyanendra Shahi, parliamentary leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, has urged Harka Sampang not to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Balen Shah. In a social media statement, Shahi said there is currently no concrete reason to call for the Prime Minister to step down.

Shahi stated that the present government was elected by the people after years of corruption and poor governance, and said the public mandate should be respected. He added that democratic practices must be strengthened and the Prime Minister should remain accountable through Parliament rather than facing resignation demands without sufficient grounds.

The statement has added to ongoing political discussions surrounding governance, accountability, and public expectations from the current leadership in Nepal.
