Home Minister Says Investigation Found No Evidence Of Torture In Sindhuli Custody Death Case
Home Minister Sudan Gurung informed the National Assembly that investigations and the postmortem report regarding the death of Shreekrishna Bik in Sindhuli police custody found no evidence of physical or mental torture by police. The minister also announced that Nepal Police has introduced a Dalit Cell to improve the handling of cases involving caste discrimination and other sensitive social issues.
