Nepal Government Blacklists 10 Construction And Supply Companies From Public Procurement
The Government of Nepal has blacklisted 10 construction and supply companies under the Public Procurement Act, barring them from participating in public procurement for periods ranging from one to three years. The decision, made by the Public Procurement Monitoring Office on Asar 25, includes major firms such as Mahadev Khimti Construction Service and Pappu–Mahadev JV.

The Government of Nepal, through the Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, blacklisted 10 construction and supply companies on Asar 25 under the Public Procurement Act, 2063. The action prohibits the companies from participating in any public procurement or construction process for periods ranging from one to three years after authorities determined they should be restricted based on recommendations from the concerned government agencies.
Among the companies receiving the longest three-year ban are Mahadev Khimti Construction Service Pvt. Ltd., owned by former Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal President Ravi Singh, Pappu–Mahadev JV, and Shrestha Construction Company Pvt. Ltd. Other firms received bans ranging from one year to two years. During the blacklisting period, none of the listed companies will be eligible to bid for or undertake government-funded procurement or construction projects.
