Rockstar Opens GTA 6 Pre-Orders, Confirms November 2026 Launch And Pricing Details
Rockstar Games has opened pre-orders for GTA 6 and confirmed a November 19, 2026 release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The highly anticipated title arrives more than 13 years after GTA 5 and will start at $79.99, making it one of the most expensive major game launches to date.

Rockstar Games has officially announced that Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), the next entry in its blockbuster gaming franchise, will launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The company opened global pre-orders on June 25, 2026, and revealed pricing details and bonus content as it prepares for what is expected to be one of the biggest entertainment launches in history, more than 13 years after the release of GTA 5.
The Standard Edition of GTA 6 is priced at $79.99 (approximately NPR 12,100), while the Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 (approximately NPR 15,100). Rockstar says the premium version includes exclusive vehicles, weapons, apparel, and other in-game content tied to the game's main characters, Jason and Lucia.
Players who pre-order or purchase the game before November 20 will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, a bonus bundle inspired by the franchise's iconic Vice City era. Digital pre-orders will also include one month of GTA+ membership, while pre-loading will begin on November 12, allowing players to download the game ahead of launch day.
Set in the fictional state of Leonida, featuring the return of Vice City, GTA 6 follows protagonists Jason and Lucia in a crime-driven story inspired by the Bonnie and Clyde dynamic. Industry analysts expect the title to become one of the most successful video game releases ever, building on the legacy of GTA 5, which has sold more than 230 million copies worldwide since its 2013 debut.
The launch also marks a significant shift in game pricing. With a $79.99 starting price, GTA 6 becomes one of the first major blockbuster releases to move beyond the long-standing $69.99 industry standard, a move that could influence future pricing across the gaming industry.
