Speaker DP Aryal Says Dialogue Ongoing With Prime Minister Balen Shah Over His Attendance In HoR

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has informed the House of Representatives that discussions are ongoing regarding the appearance of Prime Minister Balen Shah in parliament. He shared that communication has been taking place with both opposition and ruling party leaders to finalize the matter and ensure his attendance soon.

During Tuesday’s parliamentary session, opposition parties continued their protest demanding the Prime Minister’s immediate presence in the House. They repeatedly obstructed proceedings, insisting that their questions be addressed directly by the Prime Minister.

Responding to the disruption, the Speaker assured lawmakers that the Prime Minister is preparing to attend and will soon appear to respond to their concerns. He also stated that the exact date for the appearance will be decided shortly after the ongoing consultations are completed.
