Changing Universities? Nepal’s New UGC Rules Let Students Carry Eligible Academic Credits
Nepal’s University Grants Commission has introduced the Academic Credit Bank Establishment and Operation Directive, 2082, creating a common framework for storing, verifying and transferring academic credits between recognized higher education institutions. Students may carry eligible credits to another institution or program instead of losing their previous academic work, but transfers depend on subject equivalency, institutional approval and limits set by the directive.
