CR7Horaa Community Raises Rs 8.59 Lakh For Nepal Flood Relief, Sends Supplies To Nuwakot

KATHMANDU: Content creator CR7Horaa and his community have raised Rs 8,59,481 through a two-day charity livestream to support people affected by floods and landslides across Nepal.

According to an update shared by CR7Horaa, the funds were used to provide immediate relief support, including essential food and household supplies, while another portion was contributed to the government's disaster relief fund.

Rs 7.12 Lakh Worth Of Relief Supplies Sent To Nuwakot

From the total amount raised, Rs 7,12,415 was spent on essential relief materials.

The supplies included:

• Food and ration items

The materials were transported by truck and delivered to Nuwakot to support communities affected by the disaster.

Additional Rs 3 Lakh Given To Relief Fund

The remaining Rs 1,47,066 from the livestream collection was not the final contribution to the government relief fund.

CR7Horaa said he personally added Rs 1,52,934, bringing the total contribution to Rs 3 lakh to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.

He also encouraged people who have been asking how they can support flood victims to consider donating to the relief fund.

'Standing Together Matters More'

Thanking the Horaa Family and everyone who contributed to the campaign, CR7Horaa said the support was made possible by the collective effort of donors and community members.

He emphasised that the value of the campaign was not only the amount raised, but also the willingness of people to stand together during a difficult time.

The initiative highlights how online communities and content creators can mobilise support for people affected by disasters and turn small individual contributions into meaningful relief assistance.
