HoR Meeting Faces Obstruction Over PM Balen Shah Controversy

Speaker of the House of Representatives DP Aryal has expressed dissatisfaction after opposition parties disrupted Monday’s parliamentary session over remarks linked to Prime Minister Balen Shah. During the obstruction, Aryal said he repeatedly invited opposition lawmakers for dialogue but did not receive the necessary cooperation or time for meaningful discussions.

Aryal also defended Sunday’s process of approving the House regulations, stating that all procedures were carried out according to the Constitution and parliamentary rules. He clarified that, as Speaker, his role is limited to presenting amendments for decision-making and insisted that he followed the established process without violating any rules.
